Surprise, it’s Jeannel!
Jeannel is doing some holiday shopping. She bought gifts for
her family and a few items to
donate. Giving to others —
especially those in need — is
important this time of year.
McCarthy supports hundreds of organizations through our McCarthy Heart Hats program, for example, the American Heart Association.
At a single event this year, our team was the top fundraiser — bringing
in more than $100,000 to support this important cause!

It’s Norm the builder!
McCarthy is proud to help build projects that strengthen our communities and improve lives. Last year, 15 McCarthy volunteers spent the day helping complete two homes for veterans. To all those who serve —
we thank you!
Norm is excavating this area for
a new building foundation. The new facility will provide valuable services to his neighbors and improve his community.
Attention passengers — it’s Robert!
Robert is excited to see his
family for the holidays. He’s
flying across the country to visit
them. He encourages his friends, family and co-workers to be safe during the holiday season.
Safety is McCarthy’s No. 1 priority, especially when businesses remain operational. At the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, 275,000 people pass safely through our jobsite every day.
You spotted Barb!
Barb is volunteering at a local hospital over the holidays. She believes it’s especially important to bring a little extra cheer to those who aren’t feeling well.
America's healthcare providers count on McCarthy to build spaces that help heal. We’ve built more than 117 million square feet of healthcare facilities and are committed to building healthier communities together.
We hereby declare
that you found Jack!
Jack is finishing a study for the government. His work
will support their efforts
to improve life for the community’s citizens.
McCarthy employees are also proud to give back to the communities where we live and work. In the past 10 years, we’ve raised more than
$1 million for one United Way service area.
Hypothesis confirmed: it’s Gene!
Gene is working to cure a deadly disease. Like him, many students are studying hard so they can graduate and use their skills to improve communities around the world.
We’re inspired by the work done to advance medical science in research laboratories. As the nation’s premier complex laboratory builder, we’re proud to support the wellness of communities across the country.
Location confirmed: Jordan!
Jordan is using advanced
technology to map underground utilities. Her work ensures that
when construction begins, the
project won’t run into any unforeseen surprises beneath the surface.
McCarthy Mapping creates a full picture of what may be lurking
below your jobsite. According to the Purdue University Department
of Building Construction Management, for every $1 spent on mapping at our level of detail, owners can save an average of $4.62 in cost avoidance for their project.
Lisa is on the grid!
Lisa is working at the local solar field. Her work provides a renewable source of clean energy for the community and ensures a bright and colorful holiday season.
We take the responsibility of supporting and building clean energy seriously. McCarthy has contributed to renewable energy in our communities by installing more than 1.2 million kilowatts of solar power.
You found Heather!
Heather is sharing why construction careers are so great. She talks about seeing the results of
hard work and knowing that thousands, if not more, will use
the building to improve their communities and lives.
The need for skilled craft professionals is at an all-time high. McCarthy is an industry leader in efforts to grow interest and awareness of the many rewarding construction careers. Our clients, industry partners
and McCarthy all win when talented leaders enter our field.
Look, it’s Amy!
Amy and her family are going for a carriage ride. There’s nothing quite like the beauty of the holidays while surrounded by friends and family.
Unfortunately, not all families have the resources they need to gather
and celebrate. Earlier this year, McCarthy employees teamed up with other businesses in the community to deliver 11,500 pounds of food
to a local food bank.
Kelly is a very
merry caroler!
Kelly is caroling with her
co-workers. Doing something nice for your neighbors puts a big smile on their face — and makes you feel good too!
We work with owners, designers, trade partners and community members to give back. Together, we volunteer and contribute to more than 200 organizations each year.
Hello, it’s Suzanne!
Suzanne spotted a friend on her way to celebrate with family. She makes safe driving, especially
in winter weather, a priority.
Don’t worry, she checked her surroundings and slowed down!
At McCarthy, safety is the most important thing we do. We post an industry-leading Recordable Incident Rate on an annual basis and have been below 1.0 for seven consecutive years — and we’re not stopping until we reach zero.
You found Sam!
Sam and his neighbors are decorating their community’s holiday tree. Sam believes that
a little time spent contributing
to his community makes a
big difference!
Last year, McCarthy contributed nearly $2 million in time and dollars
to community organizations. We believe building communities goes beyond construction.
